According to the announcement by the United States Department of Defense, the order is valued at USD 502 million. It is expected to be fulfilled by the end of September 2026.
This order was awarded to Lockheed Martin under the multi-year AGM-114 Hellfire and AGM-179 JAGM programme commenced by the Pentagon in March of this year.
Apart from the U.S. Army, missiles produced under this order will be delivered to the armed forces of Australia, France, India, and the Netherlands, the U.S. Department of Defense said.
