The contract looks to mature and de-risk ground-breaking new technologies to inform the Royal Navy’s intent and scale of ambition for future Maritime Early Warning solutions. It was funded through the Defence and Security Accelerator (DASA), run on behalf of the Royal Navy.
This programme is part of our continuous initiative to develop sovereign UK R&D defence and security solutions tailored specifically to UK military end-users, and the UK’s defence strategy. As part of the project, Saab UK is working closely with DSTL, aiming to continue to broaden our network through continuous collaboration with the UK MoD, SME’s, and academia.
Saab UK will be collaborating with Mind Foundry, which is an Oxford University Company that was founded by pioneers in the field of AI and Machine Learning.
