Expal Systems has signed a contract with the Spanish Army for the supply of ammunition for 81mm mortars.
According to reports from the Spanish media, the value of the contract is EUR 3,3 million. The number of ammunition ordered has not been disclosed.
Ammunition will be delivered to the Spanish Army in the next eight months.
In November 2022, the German technology giant Rheinmetall announced the acquisition of Expal Systems for EUR 1.2 billion. According to a statement published by Rheinmetall, the transaction is to be finalized in the summer of 2023.
