Ukrainian forces used aerial drones to destroy or disable 1,039 Russian military boats from the start of 2026 through 25 October, Ukraine’s defence ministry said. It said the strikes disrupted Russian efforts to control waters, move personnel and equipment, and supply troops.

The ministry said every hit was recorded on video in the DELTA combat system and verified by the Brave1 defence innovation cluster. Its tally combines boats reported destroyed with those put out of action.

July had the highest monthly total at 236, accounting for almost a quarter of the reported losses. March followed with 155, while August recorded 118 and September 106.

The ministry reported 103 boats hit in June, 92 in April and 76 in May. January and February accounted for 51 and 35 respectively, with another 67 recorded during the first 25 days of October.
