The orders include two key helmet platforms: the Batlskin VIPER and Batlskin PDxT variants. The PDxT design, recently introduced to Galvion’s commercial range as the Batlskin Hellbender™, has already seen widespread adoption in international military programmes. While Galvion has not disclosed specific details of all the contracts, the company confirmed that a long-standing regional partner has placed multiple orders over the past decade, totalling more than 100,000 helmets for military and security forces.
The Batlskin VIPER A1 Special Edition was developed specifically for a regional client, featuring a high-cut aramid shell, a custom camouflage helmet cover, and a bespoke helmet bag. Additional orders from the region have been placed for the Batlskin PDxT, a battle-tested platform with a unique ACH-front profile, reinforced rear ballistic protection, and enhanced impact resistance. Both helmets are equipped with Galvion’s Modular Suspension System (MSS), which enhances comfort, stability, and air circulation during prolonged use.
Alex Hooper, Vice President of Strategic Markets at Galvion, emphasised the company’s strong partnerships in the Middle East and the continued demand for its head protection solutions. “Galvion has a long history of supporting our Middle East customers, and these latest orders reflect the trust we have built over many years,” he said. “We are pleased to announce these contracts at IDEX, where we are also presenting our expanded Nerv Centr® power and data management solutions. These technologies are well suited for operations in remote and challenging environments, and we see significant opportunities for military clients in the region to benefit from our integrated soldier systems.”
