Coordinated by the International Defense Cooperation Directorate of Israel’s Ministry of Defence (SIBAT), the Israeli delegation, led by Brigadier General (Res.) Yair Kulas, Head of SIBAT, participated in discussions aimed at addressing the evolving security needs of the region. These discussions reinforced Israel’s commitment to strengthening its relationships with countries in the Asia-Pacific and showcased Israel’s role as a global leader in defence technology.
The exhibition featured several Israeli companies demonstrating their expertise across various defence sectors, including aerospace, land, naval, and cyber capabilities. Among the participants, Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI), Elbit Systems, and Rafael Advanced Defense Systems led the display of Israel’s advanced technologies.
Highlights of the exhibition included naval vessels such as the Shaldag fast patrol craft from Israel Shipyards Ltd, alongside satellite communication (SATCOM) systems from Orbit Communication Systems. Regulus Cyber introduced its Ring C-UxS system, designed to counter uncrewed threats, while TechMer showcased its artificial intelligence-driven situational awareness and counter-unmanned aerial systems (C-UAS) capabilities.
Other notable participants included companies such as Tilag Group, Jenovice, UVision Air Ltd., and DSIT Solutions Ltd., offering innovations ranging from cyber intelligence to space-based surveillance technologies. The display emphasised the comprehensive capabilities of Israel’s defence industry in addressing modern security challenges.
Brigadier General Kulas commented on the significance of Israel’s involvement at ADAS 2024, stating: “The strong presence of Israeli defence companies underscores Israel’s leadership in defence technology and its dedication to international cooperation. We value these partnerships and believe that events like ADAS are crucial for promoting Israeli industries while addressing the evolving global security landscape.”
