Based in Kostinbrod, MARS Armor supplies military, law enforcement and government customers with ballistic vests, armour inserts, helmets, shields and demining protection equipment. The company also conducts ballistic and stab-resistance testing in-house.

The acquisition will broaden Mehler Systems’ portfolio with additional NIJ-standard protection systems and products such as demining suits. MARS Armor’s customers will also gain access to complementary products from the wider group’s ballistic protection, tactical equipment and clothing businesses.
MARS Armor will retain its brand and current leadership, backed by Mehler Systems. The group said it would support the company’s capabilities in Bulgaria and its business in existing and future markets.
