The order covers four TITAN Advanced systems and four TITAN Basic systems. The Advanced variant provides greater processing and integration capacity, while the Basic version is designed for mobility and rapid deployment.
TITAN, short for Tactical Intelligence Targeting Access Node, is a crewed mobile ground station connected to space, high-altitude, aerial and terrestrial sensors. It uses artificial intelligence and machine learning to turn sensor data into targeting information for mission command and long-range precision fires.
The platform is intended to replace parts of a data-processing model that relies on large, fixed infrastructure vulnerable to detection or attack. It allows soldiers to receive and act on real-time information in austere environments without first routing the data through a fixed command post.
Palantir USG, a wholly owned subsidiary of Palantir Technologies, received the prime agreement from Army Contracting Command. The company will oversee system-wide manufacturing and delivery, provide the software powering TITAN and support the integration of new technologies.
Anduril will build the ruggedized, vehicle-mounted hardware at its facility in Costa Mesa, California. Its work includes integrating the power, thermal, control and operator subsystems needed to operate the stations in demanding field conditions.
The Army placed Anduril’s $65 million order through its Enterprise Agreement, which provides a streamlined route for procuring the company’s products and capabilities. Anduril has worked on TITAN since 2021 as the program’s lead hardware systems architect.

That is the only way a system like this earns its place in the field,” said Akash Jain, President and CTO, Palantir USG. “We are honored by the Army’s trust, grateful for a partner team that shared the same commitment, and clear-eyed about the work still ahead.”
Both companies said operational soldiers had influenced TITAN’s design during the earlier prototype phase. Palantir will continue sustaining prototype systems already fielded with operational Army units while supporting the development and production of future capabilities.
The wider industry team includes L3Harris Technologies, Sierra Nevada Corporation, Strategic Technology Consulting and World Wide Technology. Their subsystems, technologies and software will be integrated into the Palantir-led platform.
The production award advances the Army’s software-centric and competitively prototyped approach to TITAN. The contract also covers fielding the eight new systems to operational units.
Anduril said the Army is planning additional TITAN orders in fiscal 2027. The company said it is prepared to expand production to meet further demand.
