The contract also establishes a framework for further Finnish orders. Those purchases may cover additional RBS 70 NG systems, training, spare parts and maintenance equipment.

Saab describes the RBS 70 NG’s laser-guided missile as resistant to jamming. The latest configuration adds automatic target tracking and an integrated night capability designed to improve hit probability and widen operational use.
