The U.S. Department of War has signed a multiyear framework agreement with Northrop Grumman for AN/AAQ-28 LITENING targeting pods.

Northrop Grumman said it is advancing the LGM-35A Sentinel program with more than $2 billion invested and a nationwide team of more than 10,000 experts.

Northrop Grumman is continuing to invest in technology, workforce and manufacturing capacity as demand for its defense capabilities grows, Chief Executive Officer Kathy Warden said.
Current plans call for the B-2 Spirit to remain in active service until 2032, at which point its successor will already be well established in the fleet.
Northrop Grumman said the planned partnerships build on more than a decade of cooperation around NATO’s current RQ-4D Phoenix fleet.
The company said the investment will support the next-generation strategic deterrent program while adding hundreds of high-paying jobs.
