Embraer, a global leader in the aerospace industry, has signed an Industrial Cooperation Agreement (ICA) with the Czech Ministry of Defence, marking a significant milestone in their ongoing collaboration. This agreement aims to boost local industrial and technological capabilities, foster innovation, and create high-skilled jobs within the Czech Republic's aerospace and defence sectors.

As part of the agreement, Aero Vodochody, a key Czech aerospace manufacturer, will increase its work on Embraer’s C-390 Millennium programme. This will include expanding its production of aircraft components and implementing new industrial capabilities, contributing positively to job creation and export value in the Czech Republic. Aero Vodochody has been involved in the C-390 programme since 2011, manufacturing crucial parts such as the rear fuselage, cargo ramp, and emergency hatches.

Additionally, LOM Praha, a state-owned Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) company, will benefit from knowledge exchange regarding C-390 aircraft maintenance. This will enable LOM Praha’s technicians to perform intermediate maintenance and integrate into the aircraft’s lifecycle management.
