Luch and MBDA will work on disruptive innovation to develop the deep strike capability for Neptune 2. The companies will also advance strategic defence cooperation with Ukraine.
MBDA said it has the technologies, expertise and cross-border partnerships needed to deliver European-designed deep strike systems and technologies. The company said these capabilities support partner nations and enable armed forces to defend their values and freedoms.
Luch brings specific knowledge, abilities and experience in complex weapon systems. Its work covers the design, development, integration and production of such systems.
The memorandum of understanding links MBDA’s role as a European complex weapons specialist with Luch’s experience in missile development. The cooperation is centred on strengthening the Neptune 2 cruise missile as a deep strike capability.
