The United States has restarted deliveries of key military supplies to Ukraine, including 155mm artillery shells and precision-guided GMLRS missiles, according to two American officials who spoke to the Associated Press.

This follows a brief pause in shipments ordered last week by US Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth to reassess the Pentagon’s weapons stockpiles.

The pause in deliveries reportedly surprised the White House, although the Pentagon has denied that Hegseth acted without President Trump’s knowledge.

“The Pentagon has denied that Hegseth acted without consulting the president,” the AP reported.
