MSM GROUP signs second major artillery fuzes contract with JUNGHANS Defence

MSM GROUP has signed its second significant contract this year with JUNGHANS Defence for the supply of hundreds of thousands of advanced artillery fuzes. The agreement further solidifies MSM GROUP’s position as a leading player in the European and global ammunition markets.

 

The contract was formalised with the signatures of Dr Kim Eduard Lioe, CEO of JUNGHANS Defence, and Jakub Krchňavý, Executive Manager of MSM EXPORT, at MSM GROUP’s headquarters. Both companies view this partnership as a critical step in ensuring secure and stable defence industry supplies in a challenging geopolitical environment.

Miloslav Mahut, CEO of MSM GROUP, highlighted the strategic importance of the agreement, stating, “The events of the last few years have clearly shown us the importance of stable and secure supplies in the defence industry.” He added that the company is committed to expanding its presence in EU and NATO markets while increasing production capacity to meet growing demand.

Jakub Krchňavý, Executive Manager of MSM EXPORT, expressed gratitude to all involved, remarking, “This is a significant milestone for MSM GROUP as we continue to expand our services and deliver exceptional value to our customers. A huge thank you to all our team members who have made this possible.”

JUNGHANS Defence, a joint venture between Diehl and Thales, specialises in the design and manufacture of fuzes for artillery, mortars, infantry grenades, rockets, missiles, and torpedoes. With a longstanding reputation as a key supplier to armed forces worldwide, its collaboration with MSM GROUP strengthens both companies’ contributions to the defence sector.
