The order falls under the $352.6 million indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract announced in March 2026. Financial terms for the 1,600-system order were not disclosed.
Initial deliveries are expected by the end of 2026, with most systems scheduled for delivery during 2027. Exosens said the award would establish the basis for regular BiNOD production at Photonis Defense’s U.S. factory.
Photonis Defense will manufacture and test the complete systems in the United States, integrating Exosens’ high-performance image intensifier tubes. The arrangement combines local production capacity with the parent company’s night-vision technology.

“This milestone further strengthens our long-term growth prospects in the U.S. defense market,” Cerisier said. The contract represents the next stage of Exosens’ effort to expand its industrial presence in the American military night-vision market.
Exosens described BiNOD as a lightweight and cost-effective night-vision system intended for demanding operational environments. Photonis Defense said the U.S. production line was designed to meet Army requirements for performance, quality and delivery schedules.
